Oshie put on a clinic today, I'd say the USA/RUS game has been the best so far these olympics. Russia kinda got screwed. Well, it wasn't like Quick pushed the net off on purpose, rules are rules - actually don't really like that rule - maybe make it a judgement thing that if the puck would've gone in regardless if the net was off or not and not have any impact on the play. |

it's pretty bad when your own NHL teammate is tweeting against you. Voynov tweeted after the game that he's seen Quick do that very thing in NHL games, knock the post off on purpose. On the replay it looked like he did that very thing.

Slovenia
Vs - Sweden easy win
Sweden

Vs - this is a hard to predict. Hopefully it's the Fins!!
Finland

Vs - 4-2 for USA
USA
Latvia
Vs. - Canada with a big win of 4-1
Canada
I hope Finland win, what a quarterfinal Sweden vs Finland and USA vs Canada would be !!!

What a disappearing act by Ovechkin this tourny - well, at least some of our Russian players get to come home early to get some rest and hopefully perform for 'our' stretch run - that's the important part..
