Thanks for the vote Frank - I'm sure there were many close choices that could've gone either way, and could still go either way depending on how prospects turn out. So still tied now overall? (or maybe just keep that unknown so there's no pressure on any potential deciding vote)
No problem, it was a very thought decision since one gm had some great picks and some bad picks.
Here's the top picks from each team:
Barrie:
Frans Neilsen - round 10th(239th overall)
Tyson Barrie- round 11th(242nd overall)
Zajac-15th round(338th overall))
J.Jokinen-19th round(434th overall)
Frolik-24th round(575)
P. Maroon- 27th round(626th overall)
Elias-31st overall-(722)
Grossman-33rd round(770th overall)
B. Bollig-34th round(815th overall)
Jeff Zatkoff-37th round(866)
Kelowna:
Pavelski- 5th round
P.Stastny-13th round(296th overall)
Darcy Kuemper-16th round(377th overall)
F. Anderson-28th round(665th overall)
P.Gaustad- 31st round(725th overall)
Jonathan Ericsson-36th round(857th overall)
Here's the bad pick for each team:
Barrie:
Luke Schenn-6th round
Francois Beauchemin- -8th round(191)
Lucas Lessio- 22nd round
Linden Vey-28th round
Mac Carruth-32nd round
Kelowna:
Tyler Biggs- 22nd round
M. Latta- 25th round
Barrie had more miss but also more steals then Kelowna. Kelowna had very little miss but much less steals. So at the end of the day I felt Kelowna was the better drafter between the two of them.
Ps.: How can you take Beauchemin before Trouba or Dillion before Chara. Just crazy!!! By the way here's a couple of my steals:
Kyle Turris- 10th round
Jacob Trouba- 11t round
I'll stop it there since it's not about me. So guy's congrats on the great draft guys!!
