The draft order will be done live online at a time when we can get as many general managers on as possible.
-I will have a list of numbers from 1 to 20 (or however many teams we have)
-2 or 3 random GMs will have a list of the General Managers.
-One General Manager will, in the chat box, instruct one General Manager, and me, at the same time, to post a random Team name and a random number.
This will ensure a total fair and random order for the draft.We are now going with www.fftoolbox.com/draft_order_generator.cfmEveryone will be emailed the results. It will be done at 7pm tonight (Thursday April 11th) |

Can we not use one of the random draft order generator's out there - I use the following one for our office pools (http://www.fftoolbox.com/draft_order_generator.cfm) - just enter everyone's emails and set an exact date and time to generate so everybody knows, then everyone gets an email of the random order (or as random as it gets).

That also is a good idea. I am ok with whatever best elimates the doubts of cheating! not pointing any fingers! lol

Either way works for me. Last time both draft orders were extremely sketchy.

Either way works for me. Last time both draft orders were extremely sketchy. Exactly, how in the world did Scott get top 4 in both draft ? I'm not calling a cheater but really how did tht happen? Was he that lucky or was something else happening ? I guess will never know and I rather not knowing it since Scott told me he never cheats. By the way I hope we go with random number. Like let's say we put 99 beside my team, 1 beside Quebec and soo on. The someone pick from the bag and says the number. The other gm then tell who was select according the number. |

We will use this....seems fair it emails everyone the order as it is generated. (unless a lot of you are opposed)  |

Sounds good. Does it give a time stamp? That would help with the legitimacy of it

The key check is that everybody gets the email with the randomly generated order (so just be careful entering everyone's team names and emails) - and everybody should ensure they supply a valid one. But mainly as long as a majority gets the emails, it basically validates the legitimacy since it's sent from a 3rd party site. Letting everyone know the exact date and time of running the generator also gets everybody prepared to expect the email, which usually arrives instantly.
