Starting next season, I recommend we consider no time slots for the first round of the annual entry draft. After the first round is complete, time slots can be used. Waiver draft is mostly crap players so we can continue to use time slots for all rounds within the waiver draft.
If the above is instituted, I also recommend the entry draft begin at the same time as the NHL entry draft.

I prefer BPA in first round; and skipping 4 picks and then BPA in subsequent rounds.
I can just see us getting stuck on something like pick 22 for 10 days because someone is on vacation or something....

I love our time slot but I agree we should never skip a top pick (1st rounder) but to simply give them the BPA like Buffalo mention. But the rest of the draft we should simply skip them and if they haven't made their pick by the end of the round we should give that Gm the BPA .

Ok are we going BPA as the highest drafted player or what they need? We did that a while ago.
