How is everyone enjoying their summer?
I just had another girl so I got two now. 21 months and 3 weeks old. I try and sneak free time for fantasy hockey when I can!
I got a big trip coming up in September. Denver to Cape Vincent, NY then to Ottawa then over the Calgary! Three weeks of holidays so I'm excited.
Crazy seeing these huge new contracts for 20 year olds. I think we'll start seeing more older over paid veterans having to go in our minors here in IFFHL.

How's my summer ? It's a roller coaster!! I've had a week I won 1500$ then in a few days loss 500 + change . Then I miss father days for a bachelor of my best friend and that when I made 700+ in 2 hours playing roulette . It was a great weekend at mont-Tremblant!! Then soon after after my grandma had a few strict within weeks and might be dying but then she showed sign of life. After that last Friday I was driving down to Embrun to start celebrating another bachelor (Saturday) but guess what ? About 3.2Km I was in a accident . I waisted for cop and I received a ticket since I was at fault(110$) and no one got hurt. Saturday came and we drank from 9 am to 3 am (20+ beers+ shots +). We had the limo and I played golf for the first time in like 20 years and I played well even tho I started terribly. Then I got news that my car is a total loss and on top of that my grandma is leaving the hospital to die in her house tomorrow. So I still need to buy a car on Saturday, see my grandma one last time. Next week it's my friend wedding. Did I have any vacation? Yes, 1 week. Still and up and down summer. But now this week is ending terribly !! Also my infant of almost 8 months haven't slept more then 4 hours at a time since she's born. We are waitting for a surgery (tubes) since she had more then 6 ears infection. Poor wife !!
I wish nothing the best for you and your family. It's then you found out how important is health .

Congrats on the 2nd daughter. What's bringing you to Calgary in Sept? This guys summer hasn't been too eventful, a trip to Van Isle is the highlight, but I did get wifes approval for my mid-sept fly-fishing trip so i'm pumped for that.

You need your wife approval to go on a trip ? This guy is wiped real hard !! I let my wife know when I have something coming and make sure I have enough money and that's it! There's also one other thing to take into consideration which is if we have something plan and if that's the case then the answer would be no to the boys but not because the wife said so. I'm glad to ear both of you are having a good summer. I wish everyone the best of luck !! |

Calgary is where my extended family lives. I grew up near there so its good to make the trip. Doesn't happen often. Vancouver Island is pretty awesome. love the windy roads and beaches |

We are going on local brewer tour and axe throwing. Not sure if we are throwing axes before or after the brewery tour |
