Just an honest question: Why isn't our league board and it's PM platform sufficient enough for communication? Every league I'm in that has added it has almost immediately become more talkative. This is by far my quietest league and it has lulls of no posts for months sometimes. Discord is a quick easy way to send a message out to the league to get people engaged. Also its very cell phone friendly. I don't always check the forums on my phone, the browser is tough and tapatalk app is trash...discord keeps me better connected to the leagues I play in. Even the check in post Dave sent out a few weeks back took me a few days before I noticed it was there. Anyways, if it wasn't clear already, my vote is for discord (sorry, I don't use slack)...It's not a necessity and if you don't want to go through the trouble of downloading/making an account, you can just keep going on with what you're doing in forums, pro boards won't change at all. |

I don't know anything about this stuff, but I vote for whatever I signed up for at the link. I think something is better than nothing. We can choose to use/not use it as we wish.
