Frank made a very good suggestion to give out various awards for bragging rights. Here are some and maybe we can suggest more:

GM Awards
- Best GM
- Best trade
- Biggest Steal in intial draft
- Biggest steal entry draft
- Most improved GM

Player awards
- MVP
- Best Goalie
- Best Defensman
- Most improved player
- Rookie of the year

Fun awards
- Funniest post
- Most postitive GM
- New idea contributor Award
- Coolest team thread award

I think something like luckiest GM / unluckiest GM could be an interesting one. For example lucky would be things like if your players/team overachieves and your opponents always have bad weeks against you and unlucky things like if your team got hit hard by injury and lost a lot of close matchups.

haha ya good one! like a best trainers award goes to the team loses the least amount of man games to injury. Must be the good trainers they got!

Alright, since there's so much discussion in the chat, I thought I'd bump this. If I were to propose awards, it would be for

Best GM (Keep in mind this doesn't mean best team, or else the cup winner will always win. We need consider who made the best deals, had the most steals, and was all around a good GM)

Best Trade (Not in terms of the trade being equivalent, but we vote for the GM who committed the biggest robbery.

Most Underrated GM (The GM who doesn't make any blockbusters or anything, but, at the end of the day, ices a very solid team)

Most Surprising GM (The GM who, although written off my most of us, made us eat crow and turned out to form a good team)

The Polsia Bears Award (In honor of Polsia, this award is given to the most misunderstood GM of the season. We turned against them but, in the end, much like Dylen Olson, the GM wasn't wrong. Also known as the appology award)

Biggest Steal in Initial Draft
