Regarding the "tanking" talk lately. Although it is not a written rule, it is implied that teams are required to play their good players that are not on IR. Any team found to not comply to this implied rule will be asked to change their lineup to comply.

23rd - 21.2
22nd - 16.3
21st - 12.3
20th - 8.9
19th - 6.4
18th - 4.3
17th - 2.8
-ie. 5th place wins lottery, he moves up to first, the 4 above him all move down 1 spot, 6th, 7th, 8th remain the same
League Champ = Playoff Winner - moves down to last pick
The above is current method. Below is the new method, per NHL changes, that take effect for our 2016 draft.

Lottery will be done for top 3 picks starting this year, not just 1. (so if you finish last you could actually drop to 4th overall pick.

Maximum Roster Rule
Maximum Roster for 2013/14 - 50 Players (Main Roster + Minor and Prospects Roster)
Maximum Roster for 2014/15 - 60 Players
Maximum Roster for 2015/16 and beyond - 70 Players
If, at any time, a draft pick or trade puts you over 70, you will have 24 hours to drop player(s) to put you back to 70.
If not back to 70 after 24 hours has expired, it will be done by league officials.[/s]

Team Name Change
I am allowing cootertom to change the team name of Belfast, whom he has recently taken over.
After this, any new GM will need to be active in the league for a year before name changes can be made.
Team name change will need to be approved by league management.

From now on, trades will go through unless:
-at least 2 GMs oppose - with a legitimate reason
-1 or more trade panel members oppose
at which time TRADE PANEL will discuss it, in private, come to a decision, and post the vote tally in the trade involved.
This has to be done with 48 hrs from trade posting.I would like to re-instate this, unless we have major opposition with good reason. I really don't think we need each trade to have 3 approvals, the way we do it now. |

NEW RULES FOR TRADES:
