Hey everyone I thought it would be cool to talk about who are our captain & assistant captains on our teams and why. I'll start: Captain: Shea WeberArguably the best Fantasy D in the league. Contributes to all CATs. The way he plays, I would like all my D to be inspired by him. He is the Rebels franchise player. Good luck prying him away  Assistant Captain: Joe ThorntonVeteran presence with a serious attitude. This guy has character teammates will respect. Not to mention his offensive abilities still star quality. Watch out if he scores four goals .... Assistant Captain: Evander KanePossesses the rare power forward combination of scoring and physical play. Kane still young and yet to plateau, he will be a force for years to come. He represents the leadership of the younger generation on the Rebels helping the young guys break into the team comfortably. |

Captain: Ryan Getzlaf
He is a leader in every sense of the word.
Asst Captain: Daniel Alfredsson
Provides veteran leadership year after year. At 41 is still producing some good stats.
Asst Captain: Niklas Kronwall
Does everything a Dman is supposed to do, and does it well.

Captain: Pavel Datsyuk
2-Time Stanley Cup Winner, 3-Time Franke Selke, 4-Time Lady Byng - Knows what it takes to win and leads by example. One of the most talented and exciting players to play the game and highly respected by his peers. Though a veteran in the league, he still plays at a high level and will soon be ready to pass the torch on.
Assistant Captain: Ryan Kesler
Unstoppable when on his game, does it all, one of the top multi-cats in the game who is only held back by his recent propensity for injury, which hopefully is behind him. Can take over a game by himself and be a true difference maker.
Assistant Captain: Derek Stepan
Young captain in the making who can also do it all (has regressed a bit under Vigneault, so hopefully he figures it out and performs like he has under Torterella under which he excelled) - just needs to establish a bit more consistency and he'll be a dominant force.

Well, my original captain was Anze Kopitar, with Pavel Datsyuk and Daniel Sedin as my assistants, but since they've all been traded away, my new captaincies are as follows:
Captain: Jay Bouwmeester
Assistant Captain: Fedor Tyutin
Assistant Captain: Sean Bergenheim

Captain: Jordan Staal
One of the best all round player in the game.
Assistan Captain: Vincent Lecavalier
He's a natrual leader and help the Captain for soo long back with Tampa Bay. He's also a winner and will show how to win it all.
Assistant Captain: Gabriel Landeskog
May be young but a born leader. Does everything right and is willing to do anything to win. He'll soon be the Captain of this team. He just need to learn the ropes before being name our Captain.
Soon to be nominated a Assistant Captain which is Matt Duchene. He's such a stud!!

Captain - Jamie Benn
Assistant - Patrick Marleau
Assistant - Brent Seabrook

Captain - Zdeno Chara
One of the top D-men and a bona fide genetic freak. Punishing defender who has grown into his body and 'dat slap shot. Hardest Shot in the All-Stars Competition 3 times breaking his own reacord, Norris trophy, Stanley Cup winner.
Alternate Captain - Jonathan Toews
An elite center and team leader, he is still in his prime. Olympic Gold, Stanley Cup, Conn Smythe winner and the youngest player to join the Triple Gold Club, previously held by Peter Forsberg. He is a hard working, 2-way forward and exactly the kind of player every team needs and could use 10 of.
Alternate Captain - Mike Fisher
Tough veteran presence, best served in secondary scoring and shut down role. He never quits on a play and his name is constantly in Selke discussions.
Fisher is the only name that isn't an automatic one for me, quite a few deserving names to pick from.

Assistant: Alex Tanguay (Oldest guy on my team...)
Assistant: Mike Weber (great leader)
