Do we stick w/ our current salary cap settings or do we adjust accordingly to what the NHL does presumably for the 2014-15 season? If so, will there be a deadline if we do make an adjustment.

our cap will be +10% of whatever the NHL goes up to....which looks like $70million
so ours will be $77 million
deadline is beginning of the season.

our cap will be +10% of whatever the NHL goes up to....which looks like $70million so ours will be $77 million deadline is beginning of the season. I recently read the dropping Canadian dollar means the cap might be actually a bit lower: like $67 or $68. |

I think what Dave means is that whatever the NHL salary cap ends up being, this leagues cap will be 110% or +10% higher. also, frigging Canadians. |

I think you can talk trades all you want right now, they just won't be announced or approved or whatever until after the finals are over. that means the last game has been played, even if it I am winning by an avalanche.

I'd say GM's should be talking amongst themselves as we speak regarding trades. Once the playoffs are over open up trading.
