Have no problem with awarding the pick, as again believe it is a fun thing to do (and to the comment that it is not IFFHL related - it is totally related as it promotes activity and discussion in our league) - sure it rewards those who check in regularly and participate - but think about it a bit, what's wrong with that? Again, this is so minor that we should give our Admins some leeway to make decisions as such. Particularly one that is so time sensitive as this one where a poll could not be done in time given the imminent game starts. Understand your view Rebels as did share some concerns before, but do have to take the right perspective on things. Know it's so tempting and easy to voice a differing opinion here, but try to remember what this league is all about (again, it's in our title)

As as for the 5th pick, it should probably be just stated as a 6th round pick. Maybe we should have 5 picks a 6th round that are randomly rewarded for things like this. But just a thought

I apologize for anything I have said that may have harmed the credibility of Dave. I critized Dave publically bashing his idea publically; I didn't even try to talk to him about it through PM first. This action should be seen as an example of what not to do. The better decision would have been to speak to Dave privately first and try to resolve my issue this way.

Amen, I approve!! In the past I've done just like Eric. But with time and trial I've learn what not to do. I really appreciate it Eric appology and hopefully it will never happen again such behaviour. I guess you had a bad day yesterday but next time just think before you act or type !!
I almost want to change my pick Tampa Bay to Montreal but that's kind of cheating and I hate montreal. Thx for the reply and I may change that one prediction but I may stick with what I wrote down.
