I agree with Frank. I am open to giving anyone advice in trades or drafting. I would want to help because it makes our league more competitive and fun for all. I also don't want a handful of teams of each end of the spectrum thriving or suffering. Jimmy wants the same, but he is looking at it a different way. Exactly, we are thinking the same. I wouldn't mind helping anyone that are in need of trade advice. It's crazy the turn around of a gm such as Eric. Being once a dictator to trying help others. I give Eric two thumbs up. Also hopefully no one is a bottom feeding for long but shit happen. The most important thing to remember is we are here to have fun and not to win. Yes yes, I need to remember it's for fun and not just about winning. lol!! |

One thing here is missing IMO... It's great idea to help teams that missed play-offs so that a league become more balanced and competitive.. But, the question is - why the teams missed play-offs in first place? If a team missed it because it sucks then it would be ok to help, but it's possible that some teams will miss it because of injuries or suspensions to key players (especially in our format), and so we will make good teams even better, and that is not the point if I understood correctly.
Maybe I am wrong, but just wrote what was on my mind :-)

That's another red flag for not giving extra picks or the chance at team to switch waiver pick to a entry pick. Either way It's a very fun topic and we are discussing like pros. So atm I see more cons then Pros for this possibility of trading waiver picks in for entry picks. Let's keep discussing and shortly we will see the light at the end of this long road. |
