With recent events, it seems the timing of our next award is perfect:
The Lou Lamoriello Award
Awarded to the GM who best exemplifies professional and sportsmanlike behaviour in postings on the forum and relations with fellow GMs. The GM is looked upon as a "team player", a leader, and is concerned for the well-being of the league. Certain qualities may include:
- Opinion is well respected throughout the league
- courteous and respectful of other GMs
- Positive attitude influences others
- Willingness to contribute to various administrative tasks
Please nominate your top 3 choices. I thought of this idea of three votes each prior to the Glen Sather Award. It may help gain more of a general consensus.
