I actually like things as is. And am in favour of keeping things the same. What that suggestion is, is a thought. Although I may not be in favour of changing things at this time, I am in favour of discussion. Since we are discussing change, I figured we may as well have a broad scope discussion, covering various possibilties. Thoughts and ideas trigger further thoughts and ideas. Same here, even tho I'm oppose to the idea, I'm still open to discuss such idea if I see a good enough reason to make such a change to the rules. |

@thenudge: how does someone "cheat" in fantasy hockey? Just curious!
@sully: "Teams are weak through their own actions. Every team had fair and equal opportunity to draft goalies." A few points: first, 11 out of 24 GMs were not around to draft goalies. There's been almost 50% turn-over in GMs, with some teams already on their 4th manager. So when you look at the two most recent GMs (Canners and Calgary), for example, I don't think it's fair to say it's their fault they don't have a starting goalie. [The same could be said for the Long Island franchise.] Second, (and this is my interpretation/opinion, not a fact). When I joined this league, I asked why there was a 110 max GP limit on goalies. I was told this was put in the original rules to prevent goalie hoarding. So it appears to me that when the league was designed, it was with the intention to ensure that we didn't end up with a situation of a bunch of teams not being able to start any goalies week after week. Not even two years into this league, I think there may be a view among some that the max 110 limit did not work out as intended.
He was suspected of cheating by running two accounts and then making lopsided trades that helped his one team. When called out on it rather than try to defend himself he just deleted the whole league and disappeared. This was after a week or two and a bunch of rounds of the fantasy draft already finished so people were pretty annoyed. The guy that did this is apparently now gone missing...his family has had no contact for well over a week now.... |

Are you kidding Dave ? The guy your speaking of his name is Scott. You must be kidding since i don t know how you would know that he's been missing for the last two weeks.
