Good Final Portland, you made it in doubt right to the very end - never felt totally comfortable at any time, particularly given your young lineup which always does well at season's end (as well as avoiding injuries/scratches) Too bad your goalies could not pull you through, a couple of hot performances by them could've made all the difference. Feels good to be able to bounce back from an early exit last season - that certainly left a stinging impression that was hard to take (along with Eric's celebrations  - but no pain no gain, just learn from the experience to address your deficiencies for your next kick of the can. Great playoffs everyone, even looking at the stats in the final two weeks shows Ottawa near the top of the scoring leaderboard - next season could be the big breakout he's been waiting for - especially now that he has some goaltending. Mark Stone should get our Conn Smythe given the run he had the last couple of weeks. And good to see some other contenders get into the mix this season. Now on to the real NHL playoffs, 5 Canadian teams should have the country stoked. Go 'Nucks! |

Congrats Jimmy on the well deserve win. It was a close one and I felt I could have made a small comeback but I'm just happy I didn't tied it up to lose it to you in a tie breaker lol!! Congrats bro!! I'll get you next year!!

Congratulations Jimmy on winning Season 2 of our great League.
Also, kudos to you Frank on being a very worthy opponent.
We have an awesome group here and I'm looking forward to Season 3.

A big thx for Dave being such a great Commish and ambassador of this great league. Hopefully everyone appreciate all the effort put by Dave and the rest of us involve. Now hopefully this league can last a few more years at the very least. I would prefer to never end, so we shall see what the future hold for this great league. Again, a big to all the gm that are putting their valuable time to this great league. We should make a Check in thread to double check who's still in. We need to know in advance if anyone as abandon ship.
