Glad all is well with you! My youngest brother got his 2nd concussion in October and had to quit hockey as well. I see how devastating and disruptive it can be. Nepean and Denton are currently unowned teams if you have that feeling again. The other 2 Daves have been caretaking those franchises admirably for quite awhile now.

IMO, Djurgardens had perhaps the best waiver draft. Certainly no issues with what he's done...
Glad to hear life is treating you well, Eric.
Thanks for noticing. Sincerely. Allowed to maneuver within a pool of assets throughout the season has ALWAYS yielded either improved standings, or strengthened assets for upcoming drafts. How my "absence" in this league, with zero solicitations, zero chance to improve as assets emerge amongst prospects worldwide, and having adhered to a modest protocol of supplying the most GP per position on my club, has left any doubt as to my integrity and industry is beyond me. It's been a zero sum proposition with no possible alternative given the elements at hand.

Am I missing something here? Yep, wasn't referring to you.. it was Brandon who came in to immediately take over Eric's team, partake in the Entry draft, sell off a bunch of top assets, then quit after only a couple of months - nobody was too impressed with that Fair enough. Thanks.

On the bad side, the league has been less stable; some of the weaker GMs have left (and at times, after a series of questionable moves).
On the good side, there is a bit more parity; it's not like last year where everyone pretty much knew Kelowna would go the full year without a loss. He's lost 3 matches this year, and a few others have been close. Andersen losing his starting gig has hurt him...
Still a lot of solid personalities and decent activity for such a restrictive league

Those darn questionable moves! gee whiz I remember I had to veto quite a few times. Sounds like the trade system is working if the IFFHL has parity like you say; even after three years.

There was this GM Cody who came in who really tried to mix things up - made a bunch of brazen trades flipping away Tavares/Pacioretty and boldly declaring that there wasn't a league he couldn't win in his first year. Too bad he didn't stick things through though when the going got rough early, as his former team (now Helsinki) is really picking up steam now - is likely going to be a very tough 1st round matchup for someone. Goes to show you really do need patience sometimes to see things out to uncover the fruits of your labour - too much need for instant gratification these days.

To Toronto Maple Leafs: John Tavares Brock McGinn To Fargo Ice Sharks: Jonathan Drouin Sam Bennett Christian Dvorak 2015 TML 1W - Matt O'Connor G OTT Yea I like this for TML, but its a tough decision to trade away Bennett and Drouin when they are so young. Both could potentially be better than Tavares (though likely not). Fargo Trades: Max Pacioretty William Karlsson Denton Trades: Sean Monohan 2015 2nd round waiver - Trevor Van Reimsdyk - D - Chicago This one kinda sucks. Pacio should be returning more than this. Is it too late for a VETO?? lol

I guess we need to create a new thread for Texas since I haven't seen Eric for over a month. If he ever decide to stay then I'll stand by his decision but we need to know what's happening with his status like now. So if you are reading this Eric, please let us now about your status ASAP.
