This award is presented to the GM who best exhibits skills in the art of negotiations. In evaluating GM's for nomination for this award, please consider the following: - Ability to obtain desirable assets at a fair price through trades - Willingness to negotiate trades and recognized amongst peers as a exceptional trading partner - Responds to PMs in a timely and friendly manner As I am sure everyone here has talked trades at some point, there should be ZERO excuses for not voting. Everyone get one vote!! unless there's a tie, this will be one round!! The winner will be known on Monday at 9 pm!!  |

Ottawa is a great gm and I have nothing bad to see about him but how can a gm be the top contender vote wise because he's easy to talk with. I don't feel Ottawa is the best negotiator. Sorry but Kelowna or even me should be up there. Like when you see a gm making his team better and better by every trade that gm make. Then I believe that should count more then who's easier to talk too. it's not a popularity contest. Am I wrong ?

Am exceptional trade partner to me is someone that looks for mutually beneficial trades and is enjoyable to talk to. It's not only about making your team better.

Sorry but most of the time I complete a deal with someone they rarely have something bad to say about me.
For a gm that you cause think got screwed Kevin (yakupov deal) he told me that my reputation was just a mirage and was more then happy with our trade talk. He's not the first gm, even we had a great talk bro! Same goes with Kelowna, not once they we ever heard any complain by his trading partner. So this award all fall to preference and popularity !!

Not sure why we are not following the same format as the other polls. We should vote for three GM's and then do the 2nd poll.

Here's a example, I always had great talk with buffalo but we rarely ever make a anything happen out of those talk. But I still appreciate those talk and wouldn't be afraid coming back for more.  Here's another example, take you (Josh) for example, You are a decent negotiator but you always have a set price for your players and if those value aren't met then it won't happen. How those such technique work soo well ? Just wondering ? But again our talk have never been on the sour note!! A good gm should be more then just having a good chat!! It's also about making sacrifice and some will win and some will lose some. But being active and getting a reply quickly is and should be important!! How fun is it to wait after a reply for 2 weeks? I've had a gm finally replying to a old pm of mine. Just saying !! |

Not sure why we are not following the same format as the other polls. We should vote for three GM's and then do the 2nd poll. I have no problem doing that if it's still possible but I just follow what Eric did last for this particular award!! |
