Morrison dropped far, he was another of my tier 1 guys. I still have tier 1 guys on the board so if anyone is selling near picks, I'm buying.

i was debating jyrki or kenney, with 2 others close behind so the 34 pick helped me choose

I think alot of the gms in the 20 and up picked better then a ton of the earlier picks. Goes to show there is a reason why they were so much better in the standings

I still have one of my tier 1 players left on the board. If he continues to last I'll have to go get him.

How many tier 1 players were on your list? I had 14 - they are long gone. I still have a few guys ranked in the 20s on my list, though. But so many long shots, I'm satisfied letting them go.
What's interesting is what a difference a year makes. I remember looking really hard in the 4th round last year at Andrew Copp and Chris Wagner...interesting to see them go earlier this year.
What a difference a year makes...

Had something like 12 tier 1 guys. Still have 13 tier 2 guys, 19 tier 3's, and some 4 and 5s. Overall 52 players left on my list though 1 or 2 may have been taken in the last day, I finally stopped deleting since I'm out of picks.

Wideman was in your top 12? Interesting! I think I had him in the mid 20s. Such a crap shoot.

Yup Wideman was up there for me. Lots of offensive potential and should help with PIMS and do alright with periphs. Unsure what his role will be and unfortunately he's a bit on the older side but tons of potential there.

Now that pick 96 has been made, what happens to the remaining picks? Into the ether?

Now that pick 96 has been made, what happens to the remaining picks? Into the ether? they are still free to pick or trade the picks once the season begins, the picks are considered skipped.

I think there should be a shorter time limit. Otherwise, people with these picks could wait until the end of training camp and make selections with knowledge that we didn't have.
I'm all for giving people a last kick at the can, but it should not been two full weeks to scout...

Agree 100%. In my opinion, they should pick or trade them by Sunday.
