Maksimov was drafted by SKA in last year's waiver draft...never picked up on Fantrax I guess. Well that kind of sucks, seeing as no one explained that me. Oh well. then Maksimov belong to SKA and not Eric. |

The funny thing I did check his draft which he went undrafted here but forget to look in the waiver draft. Either way Eric should have done his research.

Guys...you need to review the rule book. This quote is straight from the rules: "NOTE: ANY PLAYERS DRAFTED IN ENTRY AND WAIVER DRAFTS NOT CLAIMED IN FANTRAX BY FIRST WAIVER LOCK WILL GO BACK TO FREE AGENCY...NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!" |

I really enjoy the waiver draft. I feel like I have a better chance at getting to top players from my list. So far in the first two rounds, I've had four picks. All four are in the top 10 of my list. The entry draft is a bit more predictable considering we are all using the NHL draft as our closest comparable.

Wanted a few more but tough to complain...Now the reality of that enthusiasm might differ a year from now, but at the moment, not a bad draft at all. |

I'm only starting to get caught up on this. Not sure if it's a good sign or not that I still have more than a dozen names from my initial list of 40. Part of that, though, is I targeted a couple of positions and/or stats, and I skipped some names I didn't think would be around by my second pick (and they weren't).
